A very contemporary plaid, thanks to this new color in the range, evoking sophistication. To the point that it is a difficult shade to describe; both soft and enriched with a deep red shade that evokes the fruit of the cherry, this color is perceived as moderate; however, nothing it evokes is. It is located between red and purple on the color wheel, which gives it qualities of sophistication and seriousness. Associated with neutral ambiances such as off-white, gray, beige, black, it creates an elegant and very balanced contrast. Cherry red also responds very well to primary colors, organized in small touches, such as royal blue, saffron yellow, and particularly, green, provided that they are also vibrant, frank and of the same power. This plaid will also delight the most chilly who will wrap themselves in it to find warmth and comfort.
Our classic throw Gotland is made of 25% Gotland wool & 75% lamb's wool. Gotland wool is fantastically thick and silky to the touch. The Gotland wool comes from a Swedish breed of sheep that has been herded since the Viking Age. This is a perfect throw to wear on the sofa or during chilly summer nights.
Klippan Yllefabrik, a family company, was started when Jöns Petter Magnusson took over a small wool spinning mill in the center of Klippan, a village in southern Sweden. Ever since, they have stayed with their core business, which is with natural wool et cotton products. They produce plaids, throws and blankets, from start to finish, in their own factory. Controlling the entire process, they take the carefully selected raw material and turn it into a comprehensive textile collection based on quality and design.
